"It Ain't Easy Being King"

True Blood Ep 6.04 Title & Casting News

True Blood episode 6.04 will be called, "I’m Your Man"

2 possibly-recurring roles are being cast for it: LAVTF Team Commander (I’m guessing that LAVTF stands for “Louisiana Vampire Task Force”) , who prepares to attack a house with his crew; and Security Chief, whose becomes concerned for his employer when a vampire pays a visit.

i wonder if the vampire is Eric pretending to be a journalist…

It’s official: Rutger Hauer is “Niall Brigant” in True Blood Season 6

image

According to Rutger Hauer’s official website he is playing “Niall Brigant”, therefore we can presume the casting call for “Macklyn” was either a pseudonym or a red herring from HBO.

2013 sees him on the set of the hit TV series ‘True Blood’ as a regular, in the role of Niall Brigant.

If you are not a bookie and you want more information on Niall, including spoilers, you can check out his wikipedia page here

True Blood S6 Spoilers (kind of): Eric, Bill, Sookie & more…

From HighlightHollywood:

"It’s going to be another wild ride, Trubies, but not anything like what you may think. Last season, though a few of us loved it, many fans felt that the storylines just got too broad, bringing in a lot of new characters that didn’t work well with our established core cast. [..]

Carrie Preston in her interview with HuffPost gave an intriguing clue into what Trubies can expect in the upcoming sixth season.  “It still has the flavor of ‘True Blood,’ as it always will, but it does have something — a little spring in its step in an interesting way, I think. Everybody is finding the new chemistry between all of that and all those players. And of course, with ‘True Blood,’ there’s always still a million new characters that are being introduced. I don’t know how they keep that many balls in the air and continue to juggle, but they do.’

A source on the set of “True Blood” tells Highlight Hollywood, Mark Hudis had a meeting early in January, and he talked things through, and maybe it’s because we have a great team, but everyone is on board for this wild ride.  But, Mark does know the core fans were not all happy last year, so he’s hoping to bring them back into the fold, the source said.

Though Alan Ball isn’t the official honcho or showrunner, he’ll still be involved in a limited basis on some of the plots, just not the main ones.  “Tommy, the chemistry this year is incredible.  I just hope the fans are excited, because there will be a major event that happens on the season premiere in June, that will restart the clock.  It’s definitely something most people want to see, and will be reinvigorated by this show,” our insider tells Highlight Hollywood.

What about Eric? “A big year is planned for him!”
Bill? “Things change in the second episode, and Bill fans will be happy as well.”
Pam and Tara?  “Challenges and egos will play a big part in these two characters.”
Sookie, Jason and Rutger Hauer’s character? “Shocking! Game changing,” the source tells Highlight Hollywood.
“It’s a war, but nothing like what happened last season.  This is a war of hearts!”  Dare we say it?

Yep. That’s my theory too. That’s what it looks like from the final promo, it seems that Eric is outside the Fairy Club and i’m sure Russell is too high to fight him. I so want it to happen! Then Eric goes at Fangtasia and Tara updates him with the recent events. Eric for the win!!!

DO NOT READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW…

In “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” as The Authority proceeds with Lilith’s plan, Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) plots his escape, and with serious consequences. Gran (Lois Smith) directs Sookie (Anna Paquin) to a clue to her parents’ murderer.

Fans will be shocked where this all leads eventually. But she soon is happy that Jason told her to save her fairy powers.

is this revelation gonna impact Sookie & Bill’s relationship or Eric & Sookie’s? Because i don’t get it. Misleading much? *ponders*

I might be wrong, but i think the original poster meant that this revelation will have an impact on Sookie and Jason’s relationship even if i would be happier if it’s about S/B. I think they’ll find more about that hundreds years old pact and that it has something to do with what Sookie is which would mean their parents died because of her and Jason won’t be too happy about it. Considering that a theme of this season is “traitors among your own kind" i think a fairy killed their parents. But i could be wrong of course! :)

I think the ‘secret vampire’ is neither Bill or Eric or Russell or Roman but someone who’s specifically coming for Sookie because of that old pact her fairy (?) family made hundreds of years ago (according to some old TV Guide spoilers) :)

Idk Hime. I’m prepared for the worse to happen honestly. But….the original author of this article is a well known BLs ass kisser and usually pretends to know something about the episode but in reality he’s just playing with words. I’m not saying he doesn’t know what’s going to happen but just don’t take what he says as gospel :) I still believe it was a fairy who killed their parents because ‘traitor among your own kind’ seems to be a theme this season. And i’m sure that the part about Bill Fans will love this episode is because we’ll see his flashback with his daughter who’s going to be emotional and some other crap i don’t care about. lol. Lets see what happens, as i said i’m prepared for the worse because you know they love to screw with Team Eric and Team Eric and Sookie ;)

So Gran is back. I think we need for Godric to meet her. I’m sure they have a lot in commun. “Spiritually” speaking. Lets see how she’s going to help Sookie this time. *scared*

I kinda feel it’ll be Eric. He’s the only one who could consider ‘betrayal’ when she ‘dumped’ him at the end of Season 4 (not Bill) and considering how he’ll treat Pam this episode, how Salome reminded him he got burned by Sookie i see him doing something even ‘extreme’ to Sookie. But i really hope to be wrong.
